The Manchester United board is set to vote on Thursday on whether or not to accept an offer from Sir Jim Ratcliffe to purchase 25 per cent of the club.
Ratcliffe is one of Britain’s richest men and owns INEOS, a petrochemicals empire which has interests across a range of different sports.
