USMNT international Christian Pulisic suffers injury during AC Milan victory over PSG

USMNT forward Christian Pulisic was forced to be substituted towards the end of AC Milan’s Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25-year-old was seen holding his hamstring after falling to the ground in Milan’s 2-1 win at San Siro.

Pulisic was substituted for Alessandro Florenzi deep into stoppage time. He did however leave the field on his own power and was seen on the pitch with his teammates during post-match celebrations.

Milan manager Stefano Pioli confirmed after the game that the injury was sustained in the same area as the thigh issue that he sustained in late October that saw him miss three games.

“It seems like a cramp, but in the same place as last time,” Pioli said. “We really hope it’s just that.”

Pulisic has scored four goals in 13 appearances across all competitions for Milan since his summer move from Chelsea.

Milan’s victory sees the Italian side rise to third place in Group F before their game against Borussia Dortmund later this month.
