Recently, once again, the Mahindra chief was tagged in a post in which a user of the platform was criticizing cars made by his company. However, despite this harsh criticism, Anand Mahindra managed to give a calm and confident reply to his critic.

This saga started when Anand Mahindra shared a short video of the newly launched Mahindra XUV 3XO on X. In the same post, a user by the name of Arun Srivastava criticized Mahindra cars. He stated that Mahindra cars cannot even compete with Japanese or American cars, even in the Indian car market.
Srivastava added that Mahindra should enjoy substitution policies while they can, as once these policies are repealed, they will disappear. He added that reduced tariffs on international brands will also cause a decline in the popularity of Mahindra cars in India.

Generally, numerous people share such criticisms on Anand Mahindra’s posts, and most of the time, the billionaire chairman ignores these issues. However, this time around, Anand Mahindra managed to share a reply to this harsh criticism.
Anand Mahindra, in his tweet replying to Srivastava, stated, “Thank you for your skepticism. It only fuels the fire in our bellies.” He added that when he joined the Mahindra Group after completing his education in 1991, he was told this exact thing.
The Mahindra boss added, “Global consultants advised us to exit the industry. We were told the same thing when Toyota and other global giants in the UV space entered India. But we’re still around.”
He concluded by stating that every day is a fight for survival for everyone, and at Mahindra, they relish this. He added, “We hope to be around for the next 100 years, still fighting—every single day—for your approval.”

One of the users on X asked Anand Mahindra to gift a car to Siraj after his stellar performance at the Asia Cup.
