This Maruti Suzuki Jimny has been modified to become an extreme off-roader [Video]

It appears that with each passing day, a new Maruti Suzuki Jimny emerges, claiming to be the most extensively modified version in India. This assertion gains traction as another recently shared online video asserts that this specific Jimny stands out as one of the most heavily modified models in the nation. The video prominently displays a fully customized Maruti Suzuki Jimny, which, judging by its appearance, could very well be one of the most extensively modified Jimnys in India at the present moment. This particular Jimny boasts enhancements such as a 2.5-inch lift kit, off-road wheels, tyres, and various other metal accessories.

The video showcasing the Maruti Suzuki Jimny modified with extreme off-road accessories has been uploaded to YouTube by Modified Hub on their channel. The video commences with the presenter introducing the fully modified Jimny, situated alongside the American off-roading icon, the Jeep Wrangler. The presenter highlights that many people tend to draw comparisons between the Jimny, the Thar, and other SUVs, a practice he advises against, as the Jimny stands as a unique offering. He further emphasizes that although both these SUVs share a ladder-on-frame chassis, they shouldn’t be directly compared.

Following this introductory segment, the presenter proceeds with introducing the modified Jimny, noting that this specific variant has undergone extensive modifications. He begins by examining the front of the SUV and highlights that this Jimny now features a custom metal bumper with projector headlamps replacing the fog lights. He continues by mentioning that the grille has been swapped for one that resembles that of a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Moving on, the presenter points out that the headlights on this Jimny have also been replaced with aftermarket LED lights, giving it a look reminiscent of the Jeep Wrangler parked nearby.

Transitioning to the side profile of the car, the presenter showcases the set of customized 15-inch off-road-specific alloy wheels fitted onto this particular Jimny. He adds that these wheels are paired with robust off-road tyres from Yokohama. Furthermore, he highlights that this Jimny has received a 2.5-inch lift kit from Dobinsons. He clarifies that while this version is tailored for extreme off-road capabilities, those seeking a more urban-focused vehicle can opt for a 1 or 1.5-inch lift instead. The presenter then demonstrates the aftermarket roof rack installed on the Jimny by tugging on it to verify its secure attachment.

Shifting focus to the rear of the SUV, the presenter identifies the accessories integrated into this area. He begins by showcasing the bespoke LED taillights, designed with inspiration drawn from the Union Jack emblem of the United Kingdom flag. He proceeds to spotlight the rear side-mounted metal ladder, providing a hands-on demonstration to showcase its secure and functional attachment. Additionally, he directs attention to the rear suspension components that have been swapped out in this particular Jimny.

Following the exterior modifications, the presenter opens the rear hatch of the Jimny to unveil a 10-inch subwoofer. He adds that the car has also been equipped with two components in the front. The presenter then reveals the newly installed armrest. Moving forward, he opens a box to reveal a bar light, explaining that this light can be affixed to the designated cutout in front of the car’s roof rack. He concludes by emphasizing that all the accessories fitted to this car are plug-and-play, requiring no additional cutting, welding, or splicing to install, as showcased in the video.
