Car manufacturers across the globe, including India, can only offer a handful of color choices for their vehicles. However, some people want their vehicle to look distinct from other vehicles on the road. So, in order to do this, they have two options: either fully repaint their vehicle, which is expensive, or get it fully wrapped up, which is fairly affordable. In recent times, a ton of people are going with the latter route, and recently, a perfect example of an amazing wrap has been shared online. This example is of a Mahindra XUV700 wrapped in a stunning black chrome color, and spoiler alert, it looks extremely beautiful.
The video of this particular wrapped Mahindra XUV700 has been shared online by Viper Shot on their channel. The beautifully shot video has been edited to perfection to show the finished Mahindra XUV700. It shares the newly black chrome-wrapped Mahindra XUV700 in still shots as well as rolling at high speeds. The video also shows the SUV in the shade as well as under the direct light of the sun. From each and every angle, this XUV700 looks stunning.
What has been done?
From the video, it can be noted that the entire Mahindra XUV700 has been wrapped in black chrome wrap. For those unaware, the black chrome wrap is the darkened version of the shiny chrome wrap that we recently saw on Shilpa Shetty’s white Bentley Flying Spur luxury sedan. According to many wrap specialists, applying a chrome wrap on a vehicle is an extremely tough job.
The primary reason for it being very hard to apply on vehicles is the material’s finish. The wrap has to be kept spotless and scratchless during the installation process. This is because once wrapped, the reflection of light from chrome wraps is extremely high, and any scratches can ruin the final finish and make it look very unappealing. Hence, a lot of people avoid wrapping their vehicles in this difficult yet beautiful-looking color.
Apart from the black chrome wrap, this Mahindra XUV700 has been given some other unique touches. The list of these unique stylistic elements includes a fully blacked-out grille, high-gloss painted alloy wheels, and highlighter green-painted brake calipers on the front and rear. Apart from these, all of the window trims and normal chrome parts have been finished in black to add to this menacing appearance. Lastly, the entire car’s windows have also been tinted in an extremely dark black color.

The diesel engine is a 2.2-liter mHawk unit, while the petrol engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. In terms of power, the petrol engine underneath the XUV700’s bonnet delivers a maximum of 200 PS of power and 380 Nm of peak torque. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
