Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed that cornerback Derion Kendrick was arrested, saying he was informed of the arrest Monday morning.
TMZ Sports initially reported Kendrick’s arrest Monday afternoon.
McVay declined to comment further on the situation, saying the team and the league are in the process of gathering more information. He declined to expand on what the information-gathering process consisted of, saying he wanted to keep that in-house.
“There’s still information we’re gathering, still some things that don’t have full clarity,” said McVay. “I think, once you have that, you can use these as opportunities to try to be able to educate.”
This is a developing story and will be updated.
