The festive season is right around the corner, and numerous families and individuals around the country are planning to buy new vehicles. The same is the case with the celebrities of television and Bollywood, and recently, a ton of celebs have also taken deliveries of their new cars. Most recently, pictures of the popular Indian television personality Rohit Roy also taking delivery of his brand new 2023 MG Hector have been shared online. The actor was hand-delivered the car at his residence, and the pictures show him taking delivery of his new SUV.

The pictures showing the actor taking delivery have been shared with a caption stating, “Welcome to the MG Family, Rohit Roy. Embracing the pinnacle of automotive luxury, Rohit Roy cruises into the MG family in style with the exquisite MG Hector.” The actor took the keys and a gift hamper from the sales representative and also posed for a few pictures with his brand new SUV.
As for the exact variant of Rohit Roy’s new MG Hector, we do not have the information. The only thing that can be noted is that the actor has opted for the Candy White color for the SUV. Now, whether it’s a standard five-seat model or the roomier Hector Plus model is also not known.
2023 MG Hector Facelift
The all-new facelifted iteration of the 2023 MG Hector was launched back in January of this year. The model currently starts at Rs 14.73 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 21.73 lakh (ex-showroom). This new facelifted MG Hector comes equipped with a brand new and larger front grille with a ton of chrome garnishes, giving the SUV a premium look. It also features dual-function LED DRLs and dual projector LED headlamps on the bumper. The rear bumper has also been revised with new faux exhaust tips.
Apart from the exterior changes, the company has also revamped the interior of this SUV, and it now looks a lot more premium. The main attraction of this SUV is the 14-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system, which offers a host of new functions and voice commands. It comes with leatherette upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lights, soft-touch material on the slightly redesigned dashboard, an electronic parking brake, and more.
The facelifted MG Hector also gets additional features like a digital Bluetooth key with key-sharing function. MG has also introduced the ADAS function in Hector. It has to be noted that the company is not offering autonomous driving technology, which is different. This technology is only meant to make the driving experience much more comfortable and reduce the chances of an accident.
As for the powertrain side of things, MG offers the Hector facelift with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version comes powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that generates 141 Bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a CVT gearbox option. On the other hand, the diesel version of the Hector utilizes a 2.0-liter turbocharged unit that generates 170 Ps and 350 Nm of peak torque.
