Her first game also came with a memorable fit. Mühl’s career was slightly delayed by visa issues, but once those were taken care of, she waltzed through Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena in a t-shirt featuring a mockup of her visa with a giant “APPROVED” stamp.

With her unparalleled blend of style, creativity, and whimsy, it’s no surprise that Mühl brought home this honor in her first year as a WNBA player. Last year’s winner, Satou Sabally, showed her support for Mühl on the Instagram post announcing her win, leaving a comment that simply read, “lemme pass that torch” and a flame emoji. And while Mühl didn’t receive the playing time that many members of her draft class did, she made a major impact in the fashion space.
