NFC edges AFC in 2024 Pro Bowl Games despite monster performances from C.J. Stroud, Keenan Allen

The NFC defeated the AFC in the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl Games this week by a cumulative score of 64-59. The NFC entered Sunday with a 12-6 lead thanks to wins in skill challenges held Thursday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield won the precision passing competition by downing Texans rookie QB C.J. Stroud in the final round of the event while Dallas Cowboys punter Bryan Anger won the Closest to the Pin title on the golf course.

The NFC then continued that success in a flag football matchup Sunday.

In that game, Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith, Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield and Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts combined to throw five touchdown passes. Detroit Lions receiver Amon-Ra St-Brown finished with a game-high 117 yards and one score.

Texans rookie QB C.J. Stroud led all passers with 18 competitions on 22 attempts for 173 yards and two touchdowns in a loss.

With a second straight NFC win, Eli Manning is now 2-0 coaching against his brother Peyton Manning in the Pro Bowl.
