MGM Resort's devastating computer hacking that shut down many casino and hotel services cost it $100 million in lost profits



MGM Resorts International said the recent computer hack that shut down many services at its casino hotels will reduce profit by $100 million.

The company has also incurred less than $10 million in expense related to technology consulting services and and legal fees, according to a filing Thursday.

MGM, the largest casino operator on the Las Vegas Strip, said the impact of the hack is contained at this point.
