Maruti Suzuki Jimny does extreme off-roading: Risky off-road course [Video]

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny, a lifestyle off-roader, has made a remarkable name for itself in India in a very short span of time. The SUV is deeply loved by off-roading enthusiasts and is being pushed to its absolute limits by some. Recently, a video showing what we believe is one of the most extreme off-roading courses being tackled by a Jimny is truly breathtaking. In this video, the driver navigates his Jimny on extremely steep terrain.

The video of this extreme off-road adventure in a Maruti Suzuki Jimny comes courtesy of BRH Expeditions from their channel. The video starts with the presenter explaining their plan and then driving to the exact off-road course. Meanwhile, while reaching the spot, the presenter highlights that the rear tailgate of his Jimny rattles a lot. He added that he has already replaced the latch, but it still rattles, and he will soon add a mod to rectify this issue.

Soon after, the video shows the Jimny traveling through very rough terrain and reaching its final destination. The presenter mentions that this off-road course is a track on a very steep mountain created by a Poclain Excavator. He then mentions that they first tried to climb this extremely steep and dangerous course in 1st low gear. However, after reaching a certain length, the Jimny would get stuck and start to roll down the hill.

Following this, he mentions that they then put the car in 2nd low range gear, and this time around, the Jimny climbed all the way to the top. The vlogger added that the terrain, which is actually a mine, has very loose gravel and stones. This, along with the very loose dirt, makes it an extremely difficult terrain to climb, but somehow the Jimny managed to climb this extremely tough terrain.

How dangerous was this track?

It has to be noted that from the video and pictures, the true difficulty of the terrain cannot be understood. Some parts of the video do manage to show the actual steepness of the terrain, but still, it might not seem as dangerous as it actually was. The track on which the Jimny was climbing was also extremely narrow, and one mistake from the driver could have resulted in the Jimny tumbling down the steep hill.

Other steep course

After conquering the first course and coming down from it, the presenter spotted another course. He mentioned that on this road, the Poclain Excavator has traveled only a few times, and this one is even steeper than before. Following this, the driver starts climbing this track, and immediately it can be noted that the Jimny struggled a lot on this particular road. This road was filled with much bigger rocks and had even more loose dirt.

The presenter mentions that they tried their best to climb this track, but they could not succeed. He added that the Jimny, after a while, got stuck because of the extremely loose road. He added that once the Poclain Excavator travels on this road a few more times, it will become more compacted, and then the Jimny will be able to climb up this very difficult terrain.
