Maruti Suzuki Fronx crossover modified from base to top trim [Video]

Maruti Suzuki, the largest carmaker in India, recently launched its first-ever crossover SUV, the Fronx, in India. This model has quickly managed to gain a lot of buyers in the country due to its compact sizing and aggressive styling. The model is available in four variants, and its base Sigma variant has become especially popular. Many buyers of this variant take their cars to aftermarket shops and get them customized to their liking. Recently, a video of the modification of this crossover SUV from the base to the top variant has been shared online.

The video of this particular Maruti Suzuki Fronx modification comes courtesy of Vig Auto Accessories. The video was uploaded by this modification shop on their YouTube channel. In this video, the presenter mentions that they have modified the base Sigma variant of the Fronx into the top-spec Alpha variant.

Exterior Modifications

The presenter of the channel starts off at the front of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and begins listing all the modifications done to it. The first thing that he mentions is that they have added the factory LED DRL on top of the split headlamp design, which in the Sigma variant comes with halogen bulbs. He adds that they also turn into indicators. Next up, he adds that they have also given this vehicle 150W LED headlight bulbs from Pro 7.

Moving on, he adds that on the side profile, the vehicle has been given 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. These are the exact same alloy wheels that come with more expensive variants of the Fronx. Next, he adds that they have also given the vehicle new electronic ORVMs as well. Apart from these, the roof of the vehicle has also been wrapped with high-gloss black paint protection film to provide a dual-tone appearance.

Lastly, for the exterior, the presenter moves to the rear of the vehicle. He mentions that on the base Sigma variant, the vehicle does not come with connected LED taillights. However, in this particular Fronx, they have added this. Additionally, he mentions that they also have the original rear wiper and washer system for the Fronx available, and interested customers can get them fitted on their cars. He adds that this particular client did not request it.

Interior Modifications

Next, after the exterior tour, the presenter moves to the interior of the vehicle and shows the modifications done inside. He mentions that they have given the interior of this SUV a dual-tone appearance. He opens the doors of the crossover SUV and shows the leather wrapping done on the door panels, along with the blacked-out window control area. He adds that the door handles have also been swapped.

Following this, he moves to the front of the vehicle and shows the craftsmanship done on the newly leather-wrapped seats of the SUV. He also mentions that they have added their signature D-Cut leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls. The presenter also highlights the new Onkyo touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, along with the HD reverse camera.
