Marcus Rashford walked away uninjured after crashing his car following Manchester United’s victory over Burnley.
The United forward travelled back to their Carrington training ground with the rest of his team-mates after 1-0 win, which took place late on Saturday evening.
As the 25-year-old was driving home in his Rolls Royce from Carrington, he was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
Both drivers left the scene unhurt, and no ambulance was required.
Police did attend the scene of the accident. They spoke to and breathalysed both Rashford and the other driver, but were content for both to leave the scene and go home.
Bruno Fernandes was in the vicinity and checked on Rashford, but did not give him a lift home.
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for comment.
Fernandes scored the only goal of the game as United overcame Burnley on Saturday night.
It was a first win in three for Erik ten Hag’s side, who take on Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
