Lamborghini Huracan supercar crashed during 60th anniversary rally in Rajasthan [Video]

Lamborghini is one of the most recognized sports car manufacturers in the world. The Italian car manufacturer officially sells its offerings in India and is quite popular among the rich enthusiast community. Recently, the brand organized a rally to celebrate its 60th anniversary. As part of the celebration, the Lamborghini owners’ community in India organized a rally in Rajasthan. Several exotic cars came for the rally, and a video of the same is also available online. During this rally, an unfortunate incident occurred where a multi-crore Lamborghini Huracan crashed. A video of the same has been circulating online.

The video shows car spotters standing on the median of the highway to Jaisalmer. The convoy consists of Aventador, Huracan, Urus, and Huracan STO. We also get to see several Lamborghini cars with beautiful paint schemes and wraps. According to reports, there were close to 60 cars in the convoy. The Lamborghini Huracan that crashed was part of the convoy. The reports suggest that the supercar was being driven at high speed, which was the cause of the accident. There are other versions of the story circulating online that suggest a cow had come in front of the car. The accident happened near Mool Sagar village, which is about 10 km ahead of Jaisalmer.

Whatever the case may be, the video shows a damaged Lamborghini Huracan lying on the side of the road. The car had actually slid for about 30 feet and crashed into the bushes and trees next to the road. We can see that the car is completely covered in dust, and the engine cover of the car is also open. We do not see any occupants in the car. The owner or the driver did not sustain any major injuries. Another taxi was arranged, and he was sent back. The Lamborghini was also removed from the crash site. We can see a person holding a radio in his hand. He was probably with the team that organized the rally. When the crash happened, no other vehicles were present on the road. If the Huracan had crashed into some other car, it would have been a major accident.

Lamborghini after crash

Lamborghini has been organizing 60th-anniversary rallies all around the world. Exact details regarding the owner of the car and the damage that the car incurred during this crash are not known. Repairing a Lamborghini is definitely going to be an expensive affair. The Lamborghini Huracan was actually introduced back in 2013 as a replacement for the iconic Gallardo. The Huracan is powered by a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 petrol engine that generates 640 PS and 600 Nm of peak torque. The price for a brand new Lamborghini Huracan starts at Rs 3.12 crore, ex-showroom. We are not sure whether the Huracan involved in the crash is the AWD or the RWD version. Recently, Bollywood actress Gayatri Joshi and her husband, billionaire realtor Vikas Oberoi, were involved in a major Lamborghini car crash while traveling in Italy. Both of them escaped from the accident with minor injuries.
