Jeremy Allen White Bundled Up in a Rare, Boss-Level Filson Jacket

Ever since The Bear dropped back in 2022, it’s been consistently called one of the most stylish shows on TV—and as its star, Jeremy Allen White has taken the kind words and ran with them. From Carmy’s best-selling patchwork wool zip-up to his Ralph Lauren deck jacket, White’s handsome, deeply misunderstood chef is a sucker for solid outerwear. And so it shouldn’t come as too much of a shocker that the actor likes grail coats in real life, too.

While on the set of the upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic Deliver Me from Nowhere, the Brooklyn-born actor braved the brutal East Coast cold in an olive-toned jacket. Fitted with a felted collar and and shiny brass hardware, it looked a lot like the waxy Barbour Ogston that Carmy wore at the very beginning of The Bear‘s third season. But while that went hard in its own way, this one is a different kinda beast.

That’s because it was a rare vintage army trench coat from Filson. Made in the US from waxed tin cloth, there are limited quantities of these out in the wild—and the secondhand ones you’ll find on online marketplaces like eBay or Grailed tend to get pricy. And even though White’s piece is decades old, it’s aged ridiculously well. Waxed jackets, after all, are timeless for a reason.
