Riding a motorcycle has always been seen as a symbol of freedom and peace, and earlier, it was mostly men who used to ride around on big, bulky motorcycles. As times are changing and society is progressing, women have also come forward and are now seen riding motorcycles to enjoy this mesmerizing experience. Recently, to celebrate the message of women empowerment, the actresses of the new movie “Dhak Dhak” attended a special screening by arriving at the theater with their Royal Enfield motorcycles and a female biker group.
The video of all the actresses of “Dhak Dhak” arriving at the screening of their movie has been shared on YouTube by Movie Talkies on their channel. In the video, it can be seen that three of four actresses – Dia Mirza, Sanjana Sanghi, and Ratna Shah – were standing in front of the paparazzi on their Royal Enfield motorcycles. Soon after, the fourth actress, Fatima Shaikh, arrived at the screening venue with a massive cavalcade of female bikers.
All of the actresses then posed in front of the paparazzi for their movie. All the women riders who arrived at the screening were seen wearing protective gear and were asked to rev their bikes to add to the excitement. Soon after, all of them started loudly revving their motorcycles, creating an atmosphere of funny chaos. All of the actresses and female riders were seen enjoying this unique entry into the screening venue of their upcoming movie, “Dhak Dhak.”
About “Dhak Dhak”
Speaking of the movie “Dhak Dhak,” it is based on the story of four women, each from different age groups and segments of society, who found themselves with a common dream of riding bikes to one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The story shows the women in the movie finding each other and sharing this dream, and then planning on executing it. In the movie, these women are shown taking on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, starting their journey from Chandigarh to reach Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. During their travel, they find themselves stuck on different occasions but despite hardships, they move forward.
Royal Enfield motorcycles used in “Dhak Dhak”
All four actresses in the movie were seen riding the popular Indian bikemaker Royal Enfield motorcycles. Fatima Shaikh was seen riding a Royal Enfield Meteor 650 in the movie, while Dia Mirza was seen riding a Royal Enfield Bullet. The other two actresses, Ratna Shah and Sanjana Sanghi, were seen riding other popular Royal Enfield motorcycles – Classic 350 Desert Storm and Himalayan adventure motorcycle, respectively.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 650 comes powered by a 648cc engine that produces 46 bhp and 53 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the newly launched Bullet 350 comes powered by the new J-Series 349cc engine that makes around 20 bhp of power and 27 Nm of torque. The Classic 350 Desert Storm also comes powered by the same J-Series engine, making 20 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. Lastly, the Himalayan adventure motorcycle comes equipped with a 411cc engine that makes around 24 bhp and 32 Nm of torque.
