Eintracht Frankfurt CEO confirms interest in signing Arsenal centre-back Ayden Heaven

Eintracht Frankfurt’s CEO Markus Krosche has confirmed their interest in signing 18-year-old Arsenal centre-back Ayden Heaven.

Heaven is a product of the Arsenal academy and made his first-team debut in the club’s Carabao Cup clash against Preston North-End earlier this season. He was a guest at Frankfurt’s victory over Borussia Dortmund on Friday night.

“We spoke to Arsenal. We try to sign him,” Krosche told ESPN after the game. “He’s a really good prospect and we’ll see if we can find a solution with him.”

Despite being included in the Arsenal first-team squad photograph at the start of the season, Heaven has played just 10 minutes of senior football in 2024-25. While fellow academy players Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly have broken through to regular first-team involvement, Hayden remains on the fringes of the squad.

With his pathway at Arsenal unclear, Hayden is exploring a move to find an environment he feels is best for his development.

Hayden will be visiting several clubs to discuss his future in the coming days. He is open to leaving Arsenal in January or the summer.

There is interest in the UK and abroad, but Frankfurt are currently among the front-runners to sign the England Under-19 International.
