Bollywood actress Kim Sharma adds BMW i7 electric sedan worth Rs 1.95 crore to garage [Video]

The “Mohabbatein” movie fame actress, Kim Sharma, is one of the popular Bollywood celebs known for driving a humble Tata Nano. However, the actress recently upgraded her vehicle and was spotted outside a restaurant in it. Kim Sharma has taken delivery of a brand new BMW i7 fully electric sedan. This sedan is the flagship electric vehicle from the German carmaker BMW and costs a whopping Rs 1.95 crore.

The video of Kim Sharma with her brand-new BMW i7 has been shared on YouTube by Cars For You on their channel. In the video, the actress can be seen stepping out of the rear seat of this luxury EV sedan. The distinct glass pattern and the alloy wheels indicate that the vehicle is the BMW i7 luxury sedan. Before entering, the actress was asked by the paparazzi to stop for some pictures, to which she obliged, and then quickly got inside the restaurant.

The all-new electric i7 sedan is the German luxury carmaker BMW India’s flagship electric sedan. In terms of design, the i7 features an extremely modern and futuristic exterior with a large, low-slung grille and a sloping roofline. The i7 sedan features blue accents, a new diamond alloy wheel design, and “i” emblems to differentiate it from the ICE 7 series.

Moving on to the inside of the new i7, it is pretty much identical to that of the newest generation of the 7 Series. It features a digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, and both have curved displays. The instrument cluster measures 14.9 inches, and the infotainment screen measures 12.3 inches. The i7 also comes equipped with features such as a full-width light band and is powered by BMW’s most recent iDrive 8 operating system.

Additionally, the i7 EV sedan also gets a massive 31.3-inch, 8K “cinema” screen installed on the roof that can be folded down to provide media streaming through Amazon Fire TV in the rear. Also, there is a 5.5-inch touchscreen that controls the infotainment system, as well as the climate control and seating, which has been installed on the rear doors.

In terms of the powertrain, the BMW i7 EV sedan is powered by two electric motors positioned on each axle of the i7 xDrive 60 model. This drivetrain provides the i7 with an impressive 544 horsepower and 745 Nm of torque. It features a 101.7kWh lithium-ion battery with a WLTP cycle range of 591 to 625 km. As mentioned, the BMW i7 is currently on sale with a starting price of Rs 1.95 crore.

Kim Sharma’s Tata Nano Twist

Apart from the BMW i7 electric sedan, the actress also owns a Tata Nano hatchback. She has been spotted being driven around in her trusty Tata Nano on multiple occasions. Kim Sharma regularly uses her white-colored Tata Nano Twist. The Nano, which used to be the world’s most affordable hatchback, was powered by a 624cc two-cylinder engine making around 37 bhp and 51 Nm of torque. Interestingly, the Nano has its engine behind the rear seats and was a rear-wheel-driven car, which is rare in the Indian automotive market.
