Hailey and Justin Bieber welcomed their first child, a son named Jack Blues Bieber, last month. A blessedly happy occasion by any measure, not least of which because they now have the opportunity to pull off some beguilingly stylish mom-and-dad fits.
The couple attended a Los Angeles church service on one of their first public outings as new parents this week, and thankfully they looked just as steezy as they always have. For the occasion, Justin sported a zippered red hoodie with seemingly nothing underneath, dark baggy trousers, and fuzzy monogrammed Louis Vuitton slippers—the same pair he previously wore with two pairs of Balenciaga sweatpants back in April. He accessorized with a tan Western-style fedora from the California hat company Bailey, and carried a white ceramic coffee mug featuring a sweet illustration of a smiling bow-tie-clad bear ringed by cartoon paw prints and the words “Papa Bear.”
New mom Hailey livened up her simple outfit—black tee, blue jeans, dark shades, and red Adidas Gazelles—with a leopard-print pony hair coat from the Swedish label Toteme and a similarly leopard-spotted tote by Saint Laurent.
Days earlier, the Biebers made another date-night trek to Nobu Malibu, where Justin wore a similar outfit configuration of a Western hat, roomy hoodie, and baggy jeans. That ensemble, however, may have been a vague nod to a viral TikTok of a French Justin Bieber impersonator named Dylan Descloss, which made the rounds online this month. In the clip, the filmer spots Descloss—wearing a tan wide-brimmed hat, dark shades, and a gray sweatshirt—on the Paris Métro during fashion week, believing him to be the real-life Justin Bieber. (The actual JB, of course, was on baby duty many, many miles away in Los Angeles.) But the resemblance was uncanny to solicit a comment from Hailey herself, who wrote under the video, “I’m scared…”
It’s easy to imagine how the wheels may have turned from there: Hailey could have shown her husband the video, and he may have decided to make a cheeky run through his wardrobe before they headed out for sushi. Stranger things have happened.
