Arsenal revive title race and Murillo's made of steel: The Totally Football Show

Was this the week Arsenal edged back into the title race? They’ll certainly hope so.

Mikel Arteta’s men came from behind to claim a crucial 2-1 victory over Tottenham in the north London derby to move within four points of Premier League leaders Liverpool, who still have a game in hand over their title rivals.

Liverpool also had to fight back in their 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest after Chris Wood’s early opener was cancelled out by Diogo Jota, who scored just 22 seconds after being brought on.

For Forest, their dream of European football — or even possible title aspirations — remains alive.

On the latest episode of The Totally Football Show, James Richardson was joined by Rory Smith, Natalie Gedra and Duncan Alexander as they unpacked a thrilling round of midweek Premier League fixtures. Listen for free on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, or what the full video below on YouTube.

Elsewhere, Manchester City squandered a two-goal lead in their dramatic 2-2 draw at Brentford as Christian Norgaard’s stoppage-time header halted the champions’ recent resurgence. Chelsea, meanwhile, needed a stoppage-time free kick from Reece James to salvage a point at Stamford Bridge against Bournemouth.

Newcastle climbed into the top four after a ninth straight win, Aston Villa spoiled David Moyes’ homecoming, Graham Potter started life at West Ham with a win and Crystal Palace sunk Leicester to another defeat.
