Imagine, if you will, that you didn’t just have those general recommendations for each task, though. Imagine if a professional book nerd—a bibliologist, if you will—crafted recommendations just for you that combine your reading taste with books that fulfill Read Harder Challenge tasks. Enter, Tailored Book Recommendations.
Tailored Book Recommendations, or TBR, is Book Riot’s book subscription service. You fill out a survey with your reading taste, and you get matched with a bibliologist to recommend books you’ll love. There are three levels: recommendations only, paperbacks, or hardcovers.
You can include in your survey that you’d like books that fulfill Read Harder Challenge tasks, or you can ask for recommendations on specific tasks. It’s a great way to be introduced to books you wouldn’t have discovered otherwise, and our real-life human book nerds have much better taste than algorithms and AI, if I might add.
