Author and former British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful has teamed up with Austrian printmaker Lito’s conservation arm, Lito Masters, to reimagine some of Claude Monet’s oeuvre. Long captivated by the venerable Impressionist painter’s works from the Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie collections, Enniful and team relied on Lito’s proprietary printing technology to ensure that the limited-edition prints emulate texture, relief, and brushstrokes with precision. This attention to detail can be seen throughout the collection’s eight prints, which primarily highlight fragments pulled from Monet’s transportive Water Lilies series.

The American Society of Interior Designers releases 2024 economic report

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) has released its 2024 Economic Outlook Report, an annual review of the economic indicators and progressions impacting the industry. Signs of resilience anchored this year’s report: Despite above-average inflation and spiked interest rates, the economy stayed strong. Industry employment growth is sustainable, however, with high-vacancy rates in office real estate, diminishing demand for home improvements, and construction slowdowns, analysts point to a potential recession in mid-2025. Still, the ASID report predicts spending on lodging and office construction will see a slight increase next year.

…the Créateurs Design Awards has named Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, founders of the Tokyo-based architecture firm SANAA, the recipients of the 2025 Le Prix Charlotte Perriand. The duo, which has tackled such projects as the Glass Pavilion at the Toledo Museum of Art and New York’s New Museum, will be fêted in Paris during the Créateurs Design Awards ceremony on January 18.

The Amy Lau Design Gallery settles in at the New York Design Center

AD100 interior designer Amy Lau has been creating warm, art-filled interiors since 2001, and now that luxe yet charismatic aesthetic is on full display in her newly opened gallery at the New York Design Center. Located on the eighth floor at 200 Lex, the Amy Lau Design Gallery hosts an assemblage of ceramic, glass, and metal works alongside textiles and furniture, all of which capture Lau’s penchant for deftly melding vintage and artisan finds. Particular favorites include Fritz Nagel and César Stoffi’s elaborate modular candelabra from the 1970s, as well as a shimmering, contemporary Christopher Prinz side table. Stop by for the gallery’s grand opening celebration on Thursday, September 19, from 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
