7 Seat Mahindra XUV700 Gets 3 Lakh Cheaper: New MX Trim Launched

In order to lure in more buyers for the already popular Mahindra XUV700, Mahindra has launched the new seven-seat XUV700 MX in the country. Positioned as an entry-level variant, the XUV700 MX Diesel 7-seater comes with a price tag of Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it the most affordable XUV700 variant with the seven-seater configuration.

When compared to its five-seater counterpart, the MX variant costs Rs. 40,000 more. However, on the other hand, it manages to undercut the AX3 7-seater by an impressive Rs. 3 lakh. This makes the XUV700 a more accessible option for families looking for extra seating capacity without going way above their budget.

What has changed?

On the outside, the Mahindra XUV700 MX seven-seater remains exactly the same as the MX five-seater variant. It does not come with any additional features or design updates. On the outside, it still gets halogen headlights, gloss black grille, and no fog lights.

It also does not get any alloy wheels on the side profile. Rather, it comes equipped with 17-inch silver steel wheels. It also gets the same flush-type door handles and gloss black ORVMs. The roof does not come with either a single pane or panoramic sunroof. The rear remains the same as the other variants.

On the inside, the XUV700 MX seven-seater doesn’t compromise on features. It boasts a number of features including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto connectivity.

It also gets an analogue instrument cluster with a 7-inch MID. Other features of the base variant of the XUV700 include a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, powered ORVMs, and a center armrest with storage.

Some reports have suggested that the company could also be offering the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine option as well. The addition of the petrol option will make the new 7 seat variant appeal to more buyers. However, Mahindra is yet to confirm this addition. This new model will become available in five colors including Everest white, Midnight black, Dazzling red, Red rage, and Napoli Black.

Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition

Just a few days ago, Mahindra also launched the XUV700 Blaze Edition in India. This new model has been launched with a starting price tag of Rs. 24.24 lakh, ex-showroom.
