San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has tied the NFL record for most consecutive games scoring a touchdown (including playoffs) as his first-quarter touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday marked his 17th straight game finding the end zone. Here’s what you need to know:
- McCaffrey tied Lenny Moore, who scored in 17 straight games from 1963-64.
- He got the record-tying touchdown on a 2-yard run for his league-leading 12th score from scrimmage this season.
- He came into Sunday’s game leading the NFL in rushing yards (598) and ranked second in scrimmage yards (826).
