So, for this reason, the sub-compact sub-4-meter SUV in the country has gained popularity like no other segment. Tata Motors recently launched the facelift of its most popular sub-compact SUV, the Nexon, and now it has also revealed the fuel efficiency figures of this popular SUV.
Tata Motors has now announced that its highly popular sub-compact SUV Nexon facelifts ARAI-certified mileage figures. According to the company, the 1.2-litre petrol engine, which comes mated with the 5- and 6-speed manual, offers a fuel efficiency of 17.44 km/l. Meanwhile, the same engine when mated to a 6-speed AT and 7-speed DCT transmission will offer a mileage of 17.18 km/l and 17.01 km/l, respectively.
Next up, the company also added that the 1.5-litre diesel engine of the Nexon facelift will offer mileage of an impressive 23.23 km/l. This figure will be achieved when the engine is paired with the 6-speed manual. It improves even further when the same engine gets mated with the 6-speed AMT. The 6-speed AMT transmission with the diesel engine will provide a mileage figure of 24.08 kmpl.
As mentioned above, the Nexon facelift will come available with two powertrain options. The first is a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. This engine will generate a maximum of 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. The other option is a 1.5-liter diesel engine. This engine produces 113 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. In terms of transmission, both engines will come with manual and automated manual transmissions (AMT). On the other hand, the turbo-petrol variant will also come equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic as an option. The dual-clutch automatic transmission will also get paddle shifters.
The all-new Tata Nexon facelift gets a complete overhaul on the exterior and interior design. The car on the front gets a brand new fascia with a new split headlamp design. It also gets a brand new bumper as well. The alloy wheel design on the side has also been changed. In the rear as well, the car has gone through a huge design revision and gets Y-shaped LED taillights with a connected light strip in the middle.
The interior has also been refreshed, and it now gets a new dashboard dominated in the middle by a brand-new massive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other important highlights of the new interior are the cleaner and simpler air conditioning vents, touch-based HVAC controls with two physical toggle switches, an all-new 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, and lastly, a new dual-tone scheme.
It also gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a nine-speaker setup, and ventilated front seats. In addition to these, the car also gets features like an air purifier, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, cruise control, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitor, and six airbags.
