The country’s third-largest carmaker, Tata Motors, recently unveiled the newest iteration of its highly popular sub-compact SUV, Nexon facelift. The official launch of this vehicle will be on the 14th of September. Until then, the company has fully showcased how its new Nexon facelift will look. The company has also released the list of features that this new SUV will come equipped with.
Exterior
The company has fully redesigned the exterior of the car, and it looks poles apart from its previous model. The entire car’s exterior has been overhauled.
Front
At the front, the entire fascia of the Nexon has been revamped. It now gets a much more modern-looking split headlamp design. The top half gets sleek LED DRLs, and the bottom half gets vertically stacked LED headlamps with an all-new front bumper.
Rear
Just like the front, the rear has been fully redesigned as well. The Nexon facelift now features unique Y-shaped LED taillights that are connected by a strip of LED light. The rear bumper has been redesigned as well.
New alloy wheels
The 2023 facelifted Nexon gets a set of newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. These new wheels feature a dual-tone finish and aero blades.
Platform
The new 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will be based on the same platform as the previous model, but its steel structure has been made stiffer.
Interior
Dashboard
Like the exterior, the interior of the Nexon facelift has been fully redesigned. It now features a much more minimalistic interior inspired by the upcoming Tata Curvv EV. The car features a 2-spoke steering wheel.
10.25 Touchscreen infotainment system
The car gets a massive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which comes with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
Full-digital instrument gauge cluster
The new facelift Nexon also gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster to display all the vehicle information.

Engine and Transmission
The new Nexon remains the same mechanically. It continues to offer the same petrol and diesel engine options. There is a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 120 PS and peak torque of 170 Nm. It will be available with a choice of a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT.
Tata has introduced a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with the turbopetrol Nexon, which gets paddle shifters too. The diesel variants will continue to offer the same 6-speed manual and AMT option. The power and torque figures remain the same at 115 PS and 160 Nm.
